The cave was dark, full of bones and
rocky. He asked David to go outside
and explained how he didn't like it
there. "What's wrong Alex?" - said
David. "It's scary and dark in here. I
am cold and the bones scare me. Can we
go somewhere else?" - said Alex and
they went to play in the woods. That
afternoon, David told Alex how he felt
about the mud pen and they both
understood that their homes made their
friend uncomfortable.
